923.09 AUTHORITY OF DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION.

   (a)   The Director of Administration is authorized and directed to adopt and enforce specifications and regulations in accordance with the provisions of Sections 923.01 through 923.07 for the purpose of providing control of the installation of sewer connections and the inspection thereof. The Director of Administration shall maintain accurate and complete records of all permits issued and inspections made. The Director of Administration is empowered to require the abandonment and removal of connections to the public storm sewers which violate the provisions of this chapter.

   (b)   Council affirms that the sanitary sewers and the sanitary sewer system of the City are under the exclusive control of the Director of Administration as provided for in Ohio R.C. 729.50 and Council has the general powers over such sanitary sewer system as provided for in Ohio R.C. 727.01.
