(a) "Street trees" means any trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on land lying between property lines on either side of all streets, avenues, or ways within the Village.
(b) "Park trees" means trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation in public parks having individual names, and all areas owned by the Village, or to which the public has free access as a park.

There is hereby created and established a Tree Commission for the Village which shall consist of the following members: The Mayor, as a non-voting member, the Village Works Administrator, and six persons who are citizens and residents of the Village of Woodville, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. The Commission shall have the right to call in consultants as it sees fit.

The term of the six members appointed by the Mayor shall be three years, except that the initial committee shall include two persons appointed to two year terms and two persons appointed to one year terms; thereafter, two persons shall be appointed annually to three year terms. In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term of any member, his successor shall be appointed for the unexpired portion of the term.
