No person, firm, or corporation shall hereafter engage in the business of electrical installation or wiring in the city without having obtained an electrical contractor’s license, as hereinafter provided; provided, that the provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to work done by any public service corporation, furnishing and supplying an electrician upon its own lines, apparatus, and equipment. No such license shall be issued to any person who is under the age of 21 years.
