Whenever, upon any inspection of the Fire Chief or Inspector, any wiring or other electrical construction or connections are found to be defective or dangerous to life or property, the owner or person in control of the premises, or his or her agent, shall immediately remedy such defective conditions upon notice and in such manner as shall be directed by the Fire Chief or Electrical Inspector.
