§ 70.029 TRAFFIC COMMISSION; DUTIES.
   (A)   The Traffic Commission, a recommending agency of the City Council, shall review all proposed additions to the traffic regulations and rules of the city (except those of an emergency nature) before they are placed into effect. The Commission shall consider only such items as are referred to it by the City Council. Recommendations of the Commission are to be forwarded as expeditiously as possible to the City Council for action.
   (B)   Emergency regulations as covered in § 70.030 shall be subject to review by the Commission if so directed by the City Council.
   (C)   The Traffic Commission shall conduct such traffic studies as are necessary when requested to make such studies by the City Council or City Manager or when the Commission deems it desirable. Traffic engineering assistance may be employed by the Commission through the City Manager when such employment is authorized by the City Council.
