337.30 PLAYING OF RADIOS, BOOM BOXES, TAPE CASSETTES, DISC PLAYERS OR ANY OTHER SOUND DEVICES IN MOTOR VEHICLES PROHIBITED.
   (a)   No person shall play any radio, music player or an audio system in a motor vehicle at such volume as to disturb the quiet, comfort or repose of other persons or at a volume which is plainly audible to persons other than the occupants of said vehicle.
   (b)   Whoever is convicted of or pleads guilty to a violation of this section, the following penalty applies for:
 
(1)
1st Offense:
a mandatory fine of two hundred dollars ($200.00);
(2)
2nd Offense:
a mandatory fine of four hundred dollars ($400.00);
(3)
3rd Offense and Thereafter:
a mandatory fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000).
