157.14 WORK DAY AND LUNCH REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)   The normal work period for all full-time employees, except Fire Department employees, shall be forty (40) hours for a calendar week. Unless otherwise agreed by the Employer, each employee’s regular schedule shall be worked on consecutive days. All employees shall be entitled to a forty-five (45) minute paid lunch time, and a fifteen (15) minute break in the afternoon, as scheduled in advance and approved by the employee’s supervisor and/or the Mayor, during their regular eight (8) hour work day and/or as provided by all other applicable state and federal laws.
   (b)   Each full-time employee of the Village, except non-administrative members of the Police Department, shall document, by use of the time-clock mechanism as required under Section 157.08 of the Codified Ordinances, by clocking out for the forty-five (45) minutes paid lunch, and fifteen (15) minute break in the afternoon and clocking in at the termination of the forty-five (45) minutes paid lunch. Lunch and break time is allocated day to day and may not be accumulated as compensatory time.
   (c)   The Treasurer is hereby directed to verify the documentation of hours of full- time employees and shall deduct forty-five (45) minutes pay for any full-time employees, except non-administrative members of the Police Department, who fail to document the forty- five (45) minutes time used for paid lunch.
