145.06 OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT LIMITED.
   (a)   All full-time police officers shall be required to limit their outside employment in the following manner:
      (1)   No full-time police officer of the Village shall be employed in any outside employment for more than twenty hours in any work week.
      (2)   No full-time police officer of the Village shall be employed in any outside employment for four hours or more within the eight hours immediately proceeding the beginning of such police officer’s regularly scheduled shift of duty.
   (b)   Any police officer requesting a temporary waiver of this section shall make an application in writing to the Chief of Police, who may, for unusual circumstances or hardships, grant temporary waivers of this section upon the assurance that the intent of this section will be met. The Chief shall report the waiver to Council, in writing, at its next meeting.
   (c)   Any violation of this chapter shall be grounds for suspension or dismissal.
