(a) A Department of Public Service is hereby established under the authority of Article V, Section 1
, of the Charter of the Village of Woodmere. All services previously performed under the duties of Street Commissioner are hereby assigned to the Director of Public Service.
(b) The duties of the Director of Public Service shall be as prescribed by the Ohio Revised Code, and in addition, the Director of Public Service shall be responsible for keeping the roads and the streets of the Village free from snow, and shall perform such other duties as Council from time to time may request.
(c) The Service Director shall be charged with the duty of the enforcement of any housing maintenance code, zoning code and general offenses dealing with building, housing and other nuisance legislation adopted by the Village and shall be responsible for keeping accurate and complete records of activities in connection with the enforcement of any housing maintenance code provisions of the Codified Ordinances. He shall perform such other duties as directed by the Mayor or Building Inspector.
