(a) There is hereby created the position of Mayor’s Court Magistrate to perform the duties of Magistrate in a Mayor’s Court under the laws of the State of Ohio. The Mayor’s Court Magistrate shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the confirmation of Council. The position of Mayor’s Court Magistrate shall be a part-time position within the Village of Woodmere.
(b) The Mayor’s Court Magistrate shall receive such compensation as Council shall from time to time establish and such compensation shall be paid as payroll based upon hours submitted on a quarterly basis by the Mayor’s Court Magistrate.
