121.07 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.
   (a)   There is hereby established the position of Administrative Assistant to Mayor and Council and that person shall be paid such compensation as Council shall from time to time provide. The Administrative Assistant shall be appointed by Council and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Council and shall be governed by the Administrative Code of the Village of Woodmere and shall perform the following duties:
      (1)   Answer in-coming phone calls on the Village business line during regular Village Hall hours;
      (2)   Log and distribute in-coming mail;
      (3)   Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner at all times;
      (4)   Project a professional image in all dealings with the public;
      (5)   Type correspondence as requested by the Mayor and Council;
      (6)   Assist the Mayor in the daily operations of the Village;
      (7)   Assist Council President and Clerk of Council as necessary in preparation of Council meetings and work sessions.
      (8)   Maintain calendar of meetings, events, and other activities to be held at the Village Hall on a monthly basis;
      (9)   Serve as assistant and liaison to Mayor, Council President and other department heads in reception, log-in and opening of sealed bids for purchases and service;
      (10)   Perform other duties as requested by the Mayor and Council.
