(a) The Building Inspector is authorized to adopt such written rules and regulations as may be necessary for the proper interpretation and enforcement of this chapter. These rules and regulations shall not conflict with or waive any provisions of this chapter or any other ordinance of the Village. These rules and regulations shall be submitted to Council for approval and no such rule or regulation shall be adopted without Council approval.
(b) These rules and regulations, upon approval by Council, shall be on file with the Building Inspector for public examination, and a copy of such rules and regulations shall be posted for at least fifteen days at the designated public places for posting ordinances. These rules and regulations shall have the force and effect of this chapter and shall continue in effect until revoked by action of Council.
