(a) The Service Department is authorized to provide snow plowing services for those homeowners who are over the age of fifty-five and for those physically or medically handicapped homeowners who are unable to perform snow plowing due to such disability. Notwithstanding the foregoing requirements, it is within the Mayor’s discretion to authorize temporary snow plowing services in extreme or emergency situations.

(b) No snow plowing will be furnished to those qualified residents except when the accumulation of snow reaches approximately three inches. Driveways shall be cleared only after all Village streets have been cleared to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Service.
(c) The applicant shall indicate the location of his driveway through the use of driveway markers which shall be visible from the cab of snow plow vehicles. Applicants shall not have side or overhead driveway obstructions which may interfere with snow removal operations.
