(a) No public dance or public ball shall be conducted in any hall within the Village unless the hall is licensed for those activities. This section shall not apply to those halls in which only public dances or public balls for a charitable purpose are conducted. A charitable purpose is one which is defined by and meets the requirements of Section 501 (C) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States, which section is incorporated herein by reference for definitional purposes only.

(b) The licensing permit shall be issued by the Mayor upon written application accompanied by a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), provided that compliance with Chapter 183
Admissions Tax, is established.
