§ 114.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   A violation of §§ 114.02 through 114.05 shall be a civil offense. The maximum civil fine required by KRS 65.8808(2)(b) that may be imposed for each separate offense and violation of §§ 114.02 through 114.05 is hereby established as $100. Each day a violation continues shall be a separate offense and a separate penalty may be imposed therefor.
      (2)   The specific civil fine required by KRS 65.8808(2)(c) that shall be imposed for each separate offense and violation of §§ 114.02 through 114.05 if the person who has committed the violation and offense does not contest the citation is hereby established as $25.
      (3)   Any law enforcement officer may, in lieu of immediately issuing a civil citation, give notice that the violation of §§ 114.02 through 114.05 shall be remedied within a specific period of time.
      (4)   Any person who receives a citation for violating §§ 114.02 through 114.05 may appeal the violation to the Code Enforcement Board.
      (5)   In addition to the penalties provided herein, the city is authorized to pursue remedial civil actions for violations of §§ 114.02 through 114.05 by civil complaint or petition for injunctive relief, declaration of rights or other appropriate proceedings filed in the county circuit court.
   (C)   Any person who shall violate any provision of § 114.20 shall have committed a civil offense and shall be subject to a maximum fine of $250 for each violation thereof, subject to the following schedule of civil fines for each offense:
      (1)   Uncontested violations:
         (a)   First offense: $100;
         (b)   Second offense: $150;
         (c)   All others: $200.
      (2)   Contested violations:
         (a)   First offense: $150;
         (b)   Second offense: $200; and
         (c)   All others: $250.
