(A) In the event the cost of abating the nuisance is not paid in full within 30 days from the date of the statement described in § 95.17, the city shall have lien against the property for the reasonable value of the labor and materials furnished in abating the nuisance and, in addition thereto, all recording fees and attorney’s fees incurred in preparing, recording and releasing the lien and otherwise enforcing the lien, and the lien shall be recorded in the office of the County Clerk.
(B) The lien shall bear interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of its recordation until paid and shall take precedence over all other subsequent liens, except state, county, school board and city taxes, and may be enforced by judicial proceeding.
