(A) No owner, occupant or person having control or management of any land within the city shall permit or maintain on any such premises or adjacent rights-of-way any growth of noxious weeds; nor any growth of grass or other rank vegetation to a greater height than eight inches; nor any accumulation of dead weeds, grass or brush. Any grass or weeds or brush exceeding such height are declared to be a nuisance.
(B) WEEDS shall include, but not be limited to, poison ivy, poison oak, sumac, jimson, burdock, ragweed, thistle, cocklebur or other weeds of a like kind; provided, however, cultivated flowers, ornamentals, food plants and food items normally cultivated for personal consumption, such as tomatoes, radishes or other crop-like vegetation shall be presumed to be managed vegetation and not weeds.
