(A) Court costs beginning September 1, 2000:

* May also include merchant fee (not to exceed $25.00) plus DCE fee of 5% of merchant fee, so maximum addition would be a $25.00 merchant fee and $1.25 DCE fee, for a total court cost of $177.45.
(B) The following increases were effective September 1, 2000:
(1) The Woodford Circuit Court civil filing fee, and that for filing a civil appeal, shall increase by the statutory maximum of $25.
(2) The Woodford Circuit Court criminal court costs for felonies shall increase by the statutory maximum of $25.
(3) The Woodford District Court criminal court costs for misdemeanors and violations shall increase by the statutory maximum of $20.
(4) The Woodford District Court traffic court costs shall increase by the statutory maximum of $10.
(5) For service of a subpoena or a civil summons in both district and circuit courts, the person requesting the service shall be charged an additional fee of $10 for the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office, for a total fee of $60.
(6) The Fiscal Court specifically excludes from any court cost increase all Woodford District Court civil cases.

(C) The following increases became effective as concerns civil fees on July 1, 2002, with an effective date of August 1, 2002, for criminal and traffic court costs:
(1) The Woodford Circuit Court civil filing fee, and that for filing a civil appeal, increased by $25.
(2) The criminal court costs for felonies, misdemeanors, and violations in Woodford Circuit and District courts increased by $25.
(3) The Woodford District Court traffic court costs increased by $10.
(4) The Woodford County Sheriff's fee for service of a subpoena or summons in a Woodford Circuit Court civil case increased by $10.
(5) The Woodford Circuit Court Clerk is hereby empowered and directed to collect the additional fees and costs as aforesaid, and then forward same, in a timely fashion, to the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet in Frankfort, Kentucky, for dispersal back to the Woodford County Fiscal Court's general fund account.

(D) The following court costs were adopted May 11, 2004: Pursuant to KRS 24A.185(3), for misdemeanors in Woodford District Court, the court costs shall increase over the base state cost by $20. The cost increase for felonies shall remain at $25, and all other aspects of the previously approved ordinance with regard to civil fees and sheriff's service fees shall remain unchanged and continue in full force and effect.
(E) The following increases became effective December 3, 2009:
(1) In circuit civil cases, a fee of $25 shall be added to the filing fee;
(2) In circuit criminal cases, a fee of $25 shall be added to the court costs the defendant shall pay;
(3) In all traffic offenses, a fee of $10 shall be added to the court costs for each traffic offense;
(4) In all misdemeanor offenses, a fee of $20 shall be added to the court costs for each case; and
(5) For service of a subpoena or a civil summons, the person requesting the service shall be charged an additional fee of $10 for the Sheriff’s Office.
