(A) The Woodford County Rural Land Board shall consist of 11 members. Nine (9) members shall be voting members and 2 members shall be ex officio non-voting members.
(B) The 9 voting members shall be residents of Woodford County and shall have demonstrated an interest in farming, farmland preservation, conservation of natural areas, or other agricultural, rural and natural lands preservation and management. The voting members should be representative of some, but not necessarily all of the following interest groups in Woodford County and an individual may have multiple affiliations:
(1) The Woodford County Farm Bureau;
(2) The Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, Inc.;
(3) The Woodford County Beef Cattle Association;
(4) The Woodford County Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and/or the Greater Woodford County Tourism Commission;
(5) A local home builder or renovator;
(6) A person licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to practice real estate;
(7) An active Woodford County farmer;
(8) Public or private nonprofit organizations involved in land conservation, historic preservation and/or economic development; and/or
(9) A resident of Versailles and Midway.
(C) The 2 non-voting members shall be ex officio members of the Woodford County Rural Land Board and shall consist of the individuals holding the following positions:
(1) A Woodford County extension agent appointed pursuant to KRS 164.605 et seq., or any successor position; and
(2) A representative of the Woodford County Conservation District.
