The purpose of this chapter is to establish a countywide program to preserve agricultural, rural and natural lands in furtherance of the public health, safety and general welfare of Woodford County residents, by provisions designed to:
(A) Establish a Woodford County Rural Land Board;
(B) Create and administer a program for the donation and purchase of conservation easements over eligible agricultural, rural and natural lands; and
(C) Coordinate administration of this chapter with the five-year update of the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Comprehensive Plan.
