§ 32.150 SAFETY COMMITTEE POLICY.
   (A)   The Woodford County Fiscal Court has established a Safety Committee that is chaired by the Woodford County Safety Director. Officers and members consist of a representative from each division.
   (B)   The Committee’s mission is to design, implement, and maintain an ongoing county-wide safety program as well as uphold the Woodford County established safety guidelines.
   (C)   The Committee is dedicated to the moral obligation of the Woodford County Fiscal Court and to provide for the safety and health of the employees of the Woodford County Government.
   (D)   The Safety Committee will review accident and injury reports and make recommendations to the Judge-Executive and the Woodford County Fiscal Court.
   (E)   The Safety Committee will prepare project recommendations and make them available to the department heads and their staff for review and implementation in an effort to comply with County policy, codes, laws, and standards.
   (F)   Safety classes will be developed through the Safety Committee and held on a monthly basis. Classes will be on a wide range of subjects and skills that promote safety.
   (G)   It is the Safety Committee’s intention to take actions necessary to ensure the implementation of adherence to the state safety program.
   (H)   When possible, unsafe conditions or practices will be reported in writing to the department head with a copy to the County Safety Director for follow-up.
   (I)   Safety suggestions can be submitted through the department head or to the office of the County Safety Director. Suggestions will be reviewed by the Safety Committee and recommendations made to the Judge-Executive.
   (J)   The participation and support of all employees of Woodford County Government is required in an effort to maintain the stated goals of the safety program.
