(A) This chapter is adopted by the Woodford County Fiscal Court for the purpose of protecting public health/safety and the environment in Woodford County, through timely response and remediation efforts by properly trained individuals for incidents requiring action by existing/future local, state and/or federal requirements.
(B) This chapter also provides a mechanism for local agencies to recoup response costs from persons responsible for the release.
