§ 113.01 DEFINITIONS FOR MEAT REGULATION.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   MEAT. Includes any part or parts of the edible portion of meat animals that can be sold or used as food for human consumption.
   MEAT ANIMALS. Include cattle, sheep, swine and goats.
   MEAT PRODUCTS. Include any meat or combination of any meat with other material prepared as food for human consumption.
   SLAUGHTERHOUSE. A food establishment wherein meat animals are slaughtered and/or processed, cured, smoked, stored or rendered for human consumption for sale to the public.
   VETERINARIAN. A graduate of an accredited college of veterinary medicine who is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Kentucky, and who has been approved by the State Department of Health.
