Upon the failure of the person upon whom the notice to abate weed growth was served pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter to remedy the situation, the county shall proceed to abate the weed growth through either private contractual arrangement or by employing the Woodford County Road Department for that purpose. Upon completion of the abatement, the county shall prepare a statement of costs incurred in the abatement thereof, and serve upon the owner or occupant of the involved lot, with a demand for immediate payment.
