(A) In the event of occurrence of bad weather conditions, the Courthouse and the department offices may be closed at the direction of the County Judge/Executive. In the event of a closure, county employees shall receive their regular pay for the subject time period.
(B) Where individual circumstances exist, such as longer-than-average distance of travel to and from the workplace, the employee must notify his or her supervisor, and may exercise his or her own judgment in not reporting to work. If county offices are not subsequently closed, this time off will be charged at the discretion of the employee to vacation or holiday leave or leave without pay.
