§ 36.073 VOTING LEAVE.
   Any county employee entitled to vote at any election in this state shall, if he or she has made application for leave prior to the day of election, be entitled to absent himself or herself from any services or employment of the county for a period not to exceed 4 hours on the day of the election, between the time of opening and closing the polls. The county maintains the authority to specify the hours during which the employee may take voting leave. Voting leave shall be unpaid leave unless employee elects to use vacation or holiday leave.
