(A) Employees who are exempt from overtime provisions shall receive compensatory time for all hours worked over the regularly scheduled hours in any workweek.
(B) Compensatory time shall be credited on an hour-to-hour basis up to a maximum of 240 hours. Public Safety employees may accrue a maximum of 480 hours. Forty hours of compensatory time can be carried over to the next calendar year.
(C) Employees taking compensatory time off shall request approval from the Department Head as far in advance as possible. Department Heads shall notify the Judge/Executive when he or she is taking a week or more time off and who is designated to be in charge of the department in the absence of the Department Head.
(D) Employees who leave Woodford County employment will be paid for unused compensatory time.
(E) Employees exempt from overtime pay shall record earned and used compensatory time on a weekly time sheet. This time sheet is to be submitted to the County Judge/Executive for authorization.
