(A) The county does not have a mandatory retirement age for its employees. It does participate in the County Employees Retirement System (CERS).
(B) Woodford County has adopted the Standard Unused Sick Leave Program with the County Retirement System. The county employee receives service credit for unused sick leave to be used in determining the employee’s retirement benefit. At the time of the employee’s retirement, Woodford County shall make the payment for accrued sick leave for up to the first 6 months of an employee’s accrued sick leave. The employee may make a payment for any accrued sick leave over 6 months. Additional information may be obtained in the Judge/Executive’s office.
