§ 36.029 RE-EMPLOYMENT/REINSTATEMENT.
   (A)   The County Judge/Executive, with the approval of the Fiscal Court, may re-employ any former employee who has resigned from the county with a satisfactory employment record or who has been laid off because of lack of work or funds.
   (B)   The County Judge/Executive shall reinstate into the former position or a comparable position any employee who fails during a promotional introductory period to serve satisfactorily in a position to which he or she has been promoted. The reinstated employee shall receive at least the rate of pay that was received at the time of promotion.
