(A) Woodford County allows the employment of relatives of nonelected employees to positions with the county, provided that no employee of the county shall directly supervise the work of a relative. For the purpose of this section,
RELATIVE shall be defined as spouse, parent, child (including a stepchild), brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent or grandchild, or any person living in the same home as the employee.
(B) The Woodford County Code of Ethics prohibits the employment of a family member of an elected county officer.
