§ 52.99 PENALTY.

   (A)   Whoever violates any provision in this chapter for which another penalty is not specifically provided, shall be fined in accordance with § 10.99, and every day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

   (B)   Any user who violates §§ 52.83 or 52.84 of this chapter may be punished under § 10.99.  Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to, or in the alternative, water service may be terminated for any user who violates §§ 52.83 or 52.84 of this chapter.

   (C)   (1)   In the event a person is found to be in compliance with guidelines established in § 52.30 and, upon subsequent inspection is found not to be in compliance, the person shall be liable for a sum equal to $500, unless that person is able to show proof of having remedied all previous non-compliance to the city superintendent within ten days of initial finding.

      (2)   In the event a person is found to be in a state of noncompliance a second or subsequent time, the person shall be liable for a sum equal to $1,000 per instance.
