§ 154.238 APPLICATION FOR OCCUPANCY CERTIFICATE.
   (A)   No building, or addition thereto, constructed after the effective date of this chapter and no addition to a previously existing building shall be occupied, and no land vacant on the effective date of this chapter shall be used for any purpose, until an occupancy certificate has been issued by the office of the Zoning Administrator. No change in a use in any business or industrial district shall be made until an occupancy certificate has been issued by the office of the Zoning Administrator. Every occupancy certificate shall state the use or occupancy complies with all the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   Every application for a building permit shall be deemed to be an application for an occupancy certificate. Every application for an occupancy certificate for a new or changed use of land where no building permit is required shall be made directly to the office of the Zoning Administrator and shall show the proposed use of the building, structure, or land together with such other information as may be necessary to show compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
