All parking spaces required to serve buildings or uses shall be located on the same lot or parcel of land as the building or use served. Should there be insufficient or inadequate parking available on that lot or parcel of land, additional remote parking shall be located within 300 feet of a main entrance to the use served, provided, however, that no such remote parking for a commercial or industrial use shall be located in a residential district.
