§ 151.081 REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS.
   (A)   Every building of single-family dwelling occupancy shall have not less than one means of egress to the exterior, except such buildings of more than 600 square feet of floor area and more than two stories in height shall have not less than two means of egress to the exterior, each accessible to all areas and portions of the building.
   (B)   Every building of two or more dwelling units located above or below the ground floor shall have not less than two means of egress to the exterior and each shall be directly accessible to all areas and portions of the building.
   (C)   Windows shall not be considered as required means of egress.
