All construction of buildings or structures and additions, alterations, and repairs thereto and the installation of equipment and appliances therein required for conformance to the provisions of this chapter shall conform to provisions of the building code and other applicable ordinances and regulations of the village, and all required permits and fees shall be obtained and paid.
