§ 150.119 ELECTRICAL COMMISSION.
   (A)   The Electrical Commission shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees.
   (B)   The Electrical Commission shall:
      (1)   Review the test administered by the Electrical Inspector.
      (2)   Rewrite or alter the test as needed.
      (3)   Set reasonable rules and regulations on the issuance of permits by the Electrical Inspector.
      (4)   Set reasonable fees to be paid for inspection by the Electrical Inspector of all electrical equipment installed or altered within the municipality.
      (5)   Recommend safe and practical standards and specifications for the installation, alteration, and use of electrical equipment within the municipality.
      (6)   Any person or contractor denied a permit or certificate of registration has the right to a hearing before the Electrical Commission which shall have the power to override the Electrical Inspector.
   (C)   The Electrical Commission shall consist of the following six members:
      (1)   The Electrical Inspector shall be a member and ex officio Chairman of the Commission.
      (2) A registered professional engineer.
      (3) An electrical contractor.
      (4) A journeyman electrician.
      (5) A representative of an inspection bureau maintained by the Fire Underwriters. If no such representative resides in the municipality then the chief of the Fire Department shall take the representative's place.
      (6) A representative of an electrical supply company.
   If there is no person residing in the municipality who is qualified or willing to serve under any one of these descriptions, the President with the advice and consent of the Village Board may appoint some other person to fill that position.
