(A) It shall be unlawful to gamble, to attend any gambling resort, or to make any bet, except as provided for raffles and lotteries in Chapter 102 of this code, or except as provided for video gaming in Chapter 125 of this code.
(B) It shall be unlawful to possess any gambling device or paraphernalia with the intent to use the same for an unlawful purpose; and any such device or paraphernalia kept with such intent may be confiscated by the Police Department or any member thereof.
(C) It shall be unlawful to maintain or patronize any establishment maintained for a gambling house or resort, except those which have licenses issued by the Village Clerk and the State Gaming Board for video gaming pursuant to the provisions set forth in Chapter 125 of this code.
(D) It shall be unlawful to advertise any gambling house or gambling resort in any street, alley, or other public place within the municipality, provided, however, that establishments duly licensed by the Village Clerk and the State Gaming Board pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 125 of this code and ILCS Ch. 230, Act 40, §§ 1 et seq. may advertise the availability of video gaming on their premises, consistent with the Sign Code set forth in Chapter 158 of this code.
