§ 95.55 BONFIRES AND CAMPFIRES.
   This chapter is not intended to prohibit a controlled burn under adult supervision, and after notice to the Police Department, of clean wood and materials, other than those prohibited above, for an occasional gathering of neighbors, block party, school groups, scout and other legally recognized organizations, or for a special event such as a charitable fund raising activity. Such a burn may be after sunset but must be extinguished by 11:00 p.m. The pile of materials to be burned may not exceed 5 feet x 5 feet x 5 feet, the fire must not be closer than 30 feet to any building or structure, and the area surrounding the fire must be non-combustible.
