It shall be the duty of the Village Administrator to cause surveys and investigations to be made of all industrial and other properties served by the public water supply where private, auxiliary or emergency water supplies other than the public water supply are known to exist or where such supplies are likely to exist. Such surveys and investigations shall be made a matter of public record and shall be repeated as often as the Village Administrator shall deem necessary.
