A. Control Register Initiation: In order to initiate a central register of sales and lodging tax ordinances for municipalities that administer local sales tax collection, the town manager shall file with the Colorado Municipal League prior to the effective date of this section a copy of the town sales tax ordinance reflecting all provisions in effect on the effective date of this section.
B. Control Register Maintenance: In order to keep current the central register of sales tax ordinances for municipalities that administer local sales tax collection, the town manager shall file with the Colorado Municipal League prior to the effective date of any amendment a copy of each sales tax ordinance amendment enacted by the town.
C. Failure To File: Failure of the town to file such ordinance or ordinance amendment pursuant to this section shall not invalidate any provision of the sales and use tax ordinance or any amendment thereto. (Ord. 225, Series of 1994)
