A.   There shall be no grading, excavation or clearing of trees and vegetation prior to receiving written approval from the town staff.
   B.   All existing trees and vegetation outside of the site specific construction area should be protected and fenced properly during construction.
   C.   Trees with a diameter of six inches (6") (measured 4 feet above grade) or greater that have been disturbed within the designated protection area, may be subject to replacement requirements, as determined by the town staff.
   D.   Implementing proper forest management (i.e., removal of standing dead and ground fuels, etc.) is encouraged and does not require written approval by the town staff.
   E.   Clear cutting trees and vegetation to create view corridors is prohibited.
   F.   USDA forest service lands within the town boundary are exempt from these tree removal regulations. (Ord. 317, Series of 2002)
