(A) For the purpose of raising supplies and funds for general purposes and to meet the general obligations of the town, an ad valorem tax will be levied and assessed upon every dollar of the value of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the town on an annual basis.
(B) All taxes and sums assessed and payable under the provisions of this subchapter shall be paid in legal currency and tender of the United States of America.
