§ 31.50 CREATION OF OTHER DEPARTMENTS.

   (A)   There are hereby established and created other offices and departments for the town as follows:

      (1)   Public Safety Department:

         (a)   Police protection; and

         (b)   Fire protection.

      (2)   Water/Sewer and Natural Gas Department;

      (3)   Electric Department;

      (4)   Streets and Sanitation Department;

      (5)   Finance Department;

      (6)   Building Inspection Office;

      (7)   Personnel Department;

      (8)   Purchasing and General Services Department;

      (9)   Maintenance Department; and

      (10)   Community Development and Grants Department.

   (B)   Persons appointed to these departments and offices shall be responsible for the functions and duties as prescribed in this code and other duties as the Manager may from time to time determine.
