§ 30.075 TIME OF TAKING OFFICE; CONTESTED ELECTION.
   (A)   Newly elected officers shall not be qualified pursuant to state law until the third Tuesday in April next following the date of the general election.
   (B)   Newly elected officials shall take office the first Tuesday in July.
   (C)   If the results of the election are contested, the incumbent who fills the contested office shall hold over until the contest is finally determined.
