(A) The annual salary of the Mayor and Council members shall be as determined by the Council.
(B) No ordinance changing these salaries shall become effective until the date of commencement of the terms of the Mayor and Council members elected at the next general election following any change. At that time the salary becomes effective for all Council members.
(C) The Mayor and Council members may also receive payment for actual expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.
