There is hereby adopted for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code adopted in § 150.001, of which code not less than three copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Clerk and is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits; provided however, that in the event of any conflict between the provisions of the 2006 Fire Prevention Code and the provisions of this code of ordinances, state law or town ordinance, rules or regulations, the provisions of this code, state law or town ordinances, rules or regulations, shall prevail and be controlling.
