§ 53.04 PAYMENT OF UTILITY BILLS GENERALLY; PENALTY AND DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE FOR DELINQUENCY OR NONPAYMENT; RECONNECTION CHARGES.
   (A)   All utility bills are due and payable 15 days from the date of billing. If the total amount of the charges has not been received on the fifteenth day, a penalty of 1.5% shall be applied to the entire bill. If unpaid after 25 days from the date of billing, services shall be discontinued.
   (B)   When any of the due dates for discontinuance of service fall on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, an additional day shall be granted before the discontinuance of service.

   (D)   Persons moving into a location where utility service is connected and on, must notify the town of their occupancy within 48 hours. Failure to notify the town in the specified time shall constitute a misdemeanor on the part of the occupant and that person shall be responsible for all charges then due and payable for that service.
   (E)   Persons moving from a location where utility service is connected and on, must notify the town immediately and request discontinuance of service. Failure to notify the town as stated above shall constitute a misdemeanor.
