ORDINANCE NO. M-516-98

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ADDITION OF HIBBARD ROAD FROM TOWER ROAD TO WINNETKA AVENUE (HILL ROAD) TO THE MUNICIPAL STREET SYSTEM OF THE VILLAGE OF WINNETKA, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

   WHEREAS, the Village of Winnetka, in the County of Cook, and the State of Illinois, under the date of January 20, 1998, have entered into an Agreement with the State of Illinois for the improvement of Hibbard Road, known as State Section: 1819RS-2; and

   WHEREAS, the aforementioned Agreement provides that, upon execution of the Agreement and notification by the District Engineer, the Village will assume jurisdiction of the specified route.

   NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Winnetka do ordain as follows:

   SECTION 1: That Hibbard Road from Tower Road to Winnetka (Hill Road) will be included in the municipal street system of said VILLAGE, twenty-one calendar days after execution of the Agreement.

   SECTION 2: That the Village Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the State of Illinois through its District Engineer’s Office at Schaumburg, Illinois.

   SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and posting.
