A. Any person or business disposing of a large or bulk item not practical for regular refuse collection must coordinate a special collection with the Public Works Department prior to placing items on the curb or parkway. For large or bulk items to be eligible for collection by the Village or the Village's designated refuse collector, the items must be of a manageable size and weight so that two persons may lift and place such items into the refuse truck without risk of injury.
B. Any person or business with a confirmed special collection may place their large or bulk item(s) on the curb, parkway, or alley no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the evening before a confirmed special collection, and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of the scheduled collection.
C. In the event of snow or inclement weather, large or bulk items placed on the curb will require the owner or occupant to remove any snow on the items and clear a path through the snow if necessary.
