A. Fine.
1. Minimum fine. Any person who violates a provision of this chapter shall pay a mandatory fine of $750.00 per violation.
2. Separate violations. Each tree removal and each damaged tree shall constitute a separate violation.
B. Lien. Any person who fails to pay a fine and to pay a replacement deposit as required in this chapter, will be subject to the imposition of a lien against the offender's property, provided that no lien shall be recorded against any property unless the Village has first served a notice of lien upon the owner. Notice of lien shall be served by certified mail.
C. The penalties provided in this section shall be in addition to the tree replacement and tree deposit requirements of this chapter.
